Aluminia was founded in 1863 in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a faience factory.
This angel candle holder was produced between 1935 and 1969, and designed by Nils Thorsson. The hole for the candle is approximately 1.2 cm in diameter.
There is a slight indentation behind the left wing, but since it is glazed, it is thought to have occurred during molding (last two photos).
Other than that, there are minor scratches and wear due to use and age, but no major noticeable scratches or damage.
Since it is faience, a soft pottery, and not porcelain, crazing can be seen on the surface.
