Atelier Borgila was founded in 1921 by the Baron Fleming brothers and has continued to lead Swedish modern design in silver, celebrating its 100th anniversary last year.
Designed by the younger brother, Erik Fleming. You can feel the "aesthetic sense" cultivated in Sweden's historical climate and culture.
It feels simple, functionally beautiful, robust yet flexible. This is a three-piece set of a pot, sugar bowl, and milk jug, formed through the highest craftsmanship.
V8 = 1947 Sterling silver with silver hallmarks.
The pot is approximately 17cm high with a capacity of approximately 700ml, the sugar bowl has a diameter of approximately 9cmΦ and a height of 8.5cmH, and the creamer has a diameter of approximately 6cm and a height of 4.5cmH.
The total weight of the three pieces is approximately 1180g!
The handles are made of ebony.
As this is a vintage item, there may be small scratches and wear due to use and age.
No significant damage is noted.
