Carl Andersson (1865-1938) K. Adersson & Co. STOCKHOLM. SWEDEN silver pot is approximately 23cm high and weighs approximately 653g.
Hallmarked silver. Q8 = Made in 1894.
The body of the pot has a diameter of approximately 9.8cm, with a full capacity of approximately 1.2ℓ and a practical capacity of around 1ℓ.
This sturdy pot is typical of Scandinavian silver products.
There are small holes at the base of the handle on the body and on the white handle part itself. A silver pin, attached by a chain to the white handle part, is inserted into these holes. To secure the handle, insert the white handle into the handle part of the main body, align the small holes, and insert the pin. The handle then firmly integrates without wobbling. Superb.
There are minor scratches and wear due to age and use.
No significant damage worthy of special mention is observed.
