Rörstrand, a leading Swedish ceramics manufacturer, was founded in 1726. From faience to porcelain, and from Rococo to modern designs, it has created products in various styles as times have changed.
This is "Trollslända," which means "dragonfly" in Swedish. It was designed for Rörstrand in the early 1900s by the artist and ceramic designer Alf Wallander (1862-1914), following the Art Nouveau movement.
It is an expression of Art Nouveau made in Sweden.
It was reportedly unveiled at an exhibition of architecture and design held in Stockholm in 1909.

Dragonflies in purple and pink gradients blend into the translucent thin porcelain. The saucer is designed with three dragonflies.
As this is an antique item, there may be small scratches from use and wear due to age.
