This approximately 22 cm (D) Art Nouveau/Jugendstil plate is an antique.

Seasonal landscapes adorn its wide rim.

The painting on the rim is not flat.

If you run your finger over it, you can feel slight bumps and depressions corresponding to the birds, trees, and figures in the design.

It's a very subtle three-dimensional effect.

These plates would be entirely unsuitable for mass production.

The gentle colors express the changing seasons of nature. The underglaze bleeding technique.

It's beautiful.

This item has aged over time.

There are small scratches and wear from use and age, but no significant damage is noted.
