R.Lalique René Lalique COQUILLES No. 5 / Opalescent Bowl Approx. 13.3 cm (Diameter) x Approx. 5.4 cm (Height)

This is the smallest COQUILLES No. 5 bowl.

Its size is approximately 13.3 cm in diameter and 5.4 cm in height.

It dates from 1924-1947.

A beautiful Art Deco small bowl with a bluish-white opalescent sheen.

The signature "R. LALIQU" can be read in raised capital letters on the bottom.

Even with a magnifying glass, I cannot see the "E". The part where the "E" should be is directly below the raised center of the shell design.

I tried to photograph the mark in the last two photos, but it ended up looking like an illusion, sometimes visible, sometimes not. 🧐

I will try again on a sunny day.

There are some signs of wear and scratches due to age and use, but no significant damage worth noting.
