Hanne Varming (1939-2022) was a Danish sculptor.
She always depicted people, from children to the elderly, in both her paintings and sculptures.
Apparently, she also sculpted the portrait of the Queen on Danish coins.
(I took a picture of the Danish 10-krone coin at the end of the photos. There seem to be old and new designs. It's a portrait of Margrethe II, who abdicated in January 2024.)
This is a 2nd quality item, indicated by a single scratch over the three wavy lines on the backstamp.
I couldn't find the reason why it became a 2nd quality item.
Looking at the color scheme and the overall molding of the porcelain, I can't see any noticeable damage.
There is almost no wear or scratches from age, and it is in very good, clean vintage condition.
But a 2nd quality item at this price!? Σ(っ °Д °;)っ
Unfortunately, that's not a mistake.
