Pre-1924 Meissen Antique Akanthus Cup, Saucer, and Cake Plate

Antique Meissen, Acanthus.

It is said to be called Akante = A's edge = Acanthus because the gold pattern on the cobalt rim looks like an A.

Cup height approx. 6.5 cm H, rim diameter approx. 8.5 cm D.

Saucer diameter approx. 13.5 cm D, height approx. 3.4 cm H.

Cup capacity is approx. 210-220 ml when filled to the brim.

Cake plate diameter is approx. 17.5 cm D.

There are some wear to the gold plating and small scratches due to age and use.

No significant damage worthy of special mention is observed.
