This is a small cup and saucer with underglaze decoration, in the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau style. The cup has a diameter of approximately 4.5 cm and a height of approximately 4.5 cm. The saucer has a diameter of approximately 12 cm. The cup has a pink hue. The saucer has a sharp-angled form with a green gradation. Although it may be difficult to see in the photos, the saucer also has a very delicate relief pattern resembling leaf veins.
The design was created by Pietro Krohn (1840-1905), a painter, illustrator, theater director, and museum director. All of his titles are related to the visual arts.
As an antique, there is some wear due to age, but it is in beautiful and good condition. No noticeable major scratches or damage are observed. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
