頼むよ、雪!

Come on, Yuki!

This time, it's a record of a snow mishap on a certain day, with no real content.

The snow fell heavily and persistently.
I shoveled snow three times in two days, resolving my lack of exercise with a full-body workout.

Due to a sudden guest's car, I had no place to park my own car. The old man across the street, who was shoveling snow, told me to park it there, so I parked my car on the fresh snow on his property.
After the guest left, when I tried to drive my car out of the old man's property... it slipped and wouldn't move. It was a slight incline, with the rear of the car raised, and the tires just spun uselessly, unable to back up.
The old man said, "Try moving forward a bit and then gaining momentum!" So I tried moving forward, but I still couldn't back up.
Please, snow!
Just tens of centimeters ahead was the old man's huge BMW, his beloved car...

Feeling that the BMW was in danger, the old man and I silently cleared the fresh snow around my car and tried again. Still couldn't back up.
Me: I'm so sorry. I've caused you extra work.
Old man: Don't you ever park in front of my house again! (laughs)
Me: (laughs) My neighbors are so kind.

At that moment, the old man remembered!
He said, and went to get something and came back.
It was gravel that his deceased wife used to spread on snowy roads.
"I've never used it even once, so I'd forgotten about it, but this should work."

The gravel was in a plastic bucket so deteriorated that it would crack just by lifting it.

We spread gravel in front of and behind all the tires.

That evening, I realized I hadn't chilled the beer to conclude a day spent battling the snow.

It's December, the last month of the year again.
