立ち止まって重要な事を確認する

Stop and check the important things.

February went by too quickly.
If I keep saying things like that, I'll probably say "my life ended too quickly" at the end of my life, and that doesn't feel right, so I'll retract what I just said.
I was spacing out, and February was over.
If I say it this way, it would mean my life was over while I was spacing out, but this feels more accurate to my own feelings.

Perhaps concerned about this always-spacing-out, shut-in Japanese person, my diligent neighbor gave me a mission.
Walking a 2-year-old female Pomeranian, the daytime shift 😎. Is this animal therapy now? Lol.
Pomeranian-chan stays home alone during the day, so she and I will go for walks around noon, five times a week.
The daytime lone duo, 😎🐶 is born here.

The other day, while I was walking, the old man across the street saw me and approached me with a surprised look on his face, as if to ask, "Did you get a dog🐶?"
When I said, "No, this isn't my dog, it's that family's dog, over there,"
he laughed so hard I wondered why it was so funny.
Incidentally, the old man himself is a dog lover who owns a small dog.

To someone who doesn't know anything, it looks like a stranger entering someone else's unoccupied property during the day, taking someone else's dog out of their house without permission, and going for a fun walk. I'm not doing anything wrong, but it gives me a thrill every time 💙
It's the exciting thrill of wondering if I'll be mistaken for a thief 😎✨
But the sound of my footsteps crunching on the gravel in the garden makes Pomeranian-chan rush to the door right away, and she makes happy cries? happy barks? from inside the house, which makes my heart flutter.
See, everyone, can you hear that? Put down your cell phones, I'm not a thief.

Even though I'm walking the dog, I don't have the final say. Pomeranian-sama walks at her own pace, sniffing the ground, suddenly dashing, abruptly stopping, sometimes lying down, peeing many times, and occasionally pooping, and I toddle along behind her.
I'm amazed at how many times more information a dog's nose receives than a human's. She walks while continuously sniffing the ground.
It seems that sniffing is more important than walking during a walk.
It seems that the smell of other dogs' pee is more important than their poop.
Apparently, there are places that emit such attractive smells that she sometimes wants to lie down and rub her body against them.
She apparently gets excited on rainy days. But she dislikes having her wet paws wiped.
I am, in fact (this isn't something to be so precious about), what you might call a "cat person 🐱" with a cat brooch on my coat collar, but accompanying Pomeranian-chan on her walks makes every day fresh.
I only speak Japanese to her, so Pomeranian-chan will be bilingual eventually. (Of no use to Pomeranian-chan's life)
And next year, I might even have a dog 🐶 brooch on the other collar of my coat.
Today, while waiting for Pomeranian-sama to finish sniffing, I felt the warmth of the sun on my back as I stood by.
Is Pomeranian-sama sniffing out spring through her nose right now?

Spring seems to be arriving soon, while I'm still spacing out.
I'll use the firewood generously now, which I used sparingly before, worrying about running out! (Then the cold will return in the Nordic winter)
I wish you all a wonderful spring 🌸

The photo shows a 5-year-old wandering around Stockholm.
This one also stops suddenly, almost as much as the Pomeranian...
