The pleasure of waiting.

It's already February, and a month has passed since the new year began. How have you been?
I wish you all good health and happiness.
The photo was taken recently at dusk, just before it got dark.
There were clouds tinged with seven colors.
The days are still short, and night falls around 4 PM.
I can't wait for spring.
I was very satisfied reading the sequel to a sci-fi series I've been following for a long time. The wait for the next installment always feels long, but once I start reading, it flies by.
Another favorite series of mine is Shotaro Ikenami's Onihei Hankachō. This one, unfortunately, remains unfinished, so I can't read any more no matter how long I wait. Still, I regularly reread it from the beginning and enjoy it.
The familiar characters are always there in the books, and the world of the books is preserved entirely in my mind.
As I get older, my interpretation of the characters also changes.
I can now imagine the taste of the cold sake in a teacup that Granny Okuma drinks after finishing her day's work and closing her teahouse more vividly than before.
The miso soup, freshly cooked rice, and pickles always sound so delicious.
I feel like reading it from the beginning again...
Waiting for spring, waiting for the next installment of my favorite book, waiting for my evening drink at the end of the day. Haha.
Well then, everyone, please stay well! 🐦
