This is a relatively new Meissen serving plate with naturalistic painting, a large, flat, round plate.
Julius Eduard Braunsdorf (1841-1922), also a watercolor painter, brought a new and impressive style of painting to Meissen.
His distinctive style features flowers and insects that blend into the porcelain with a gentle, soft expression of color and light.
There is almost no wear or small scratches due to age, and it is in good clean vintage condition.
