Approximately 16cm H.
This is a Jugendstil vase from KPM, made in 1915.
The flowers are painted using the Weichmalarei technique, which literally translates to "soft painting."
On each of the three sides, in three separate "windows," are crocuses, carnations, and cyclamen.
The flowers, brimming with vitality, cannot be contained within the windows.

To counteract this vitality, perhaps the gold-painted snowdrops, or copious gold accents, beautifully harmonize with the design.
How much gold to use, where, and in what manner?
It's a challenge to the limits, aiming for gold accents that maintain elegance.
I also appreciate the spirit of using such an abundance of gold accents.
Perhaps this much gold is necessary to frame the overflowing beauty of the flowers within the vase.
The deep, slightly greenish-blue curtain, encroaching from the background above each flower like a seepage, might also be a strategy to bring calm to the overall piece. It's a blue like a deep ocean.
The bottom and neck feature a gentle mint-green band.
Holding it in both hands, cradling it, and turning it around and around makes you lose track of time.
Too many photos? I think so too.
I just couldn't stop snapping away 📸
There are signs of wear and small scratches due to age.
I believe there is no significant damage that detracts from the overall beauty of the piece.
